More Information

The 2026 Healthy Active Challenge starts Feb 2 and ends Feb 28.

There are two ways to win prizes:

1锔忊儯 Free Drawings at Every Event
At the start of each event, participants scan a QR code and complete a quick survey. Everyone who participates is entered into a FREE drawing held at the end of that event. One (and sometimes two!) winners will be randomly selected to win prizes.

2锔忊儯 Points = Bigger Prizes
Each time you attend an event and scan the QR code, you (or your team) earn points. At the end of the challenge, the top three individual participants and the top three teams with the most points will win prizes. Winners will be notified by email.

Bottom line: The more events you attend, the more chances you have to win鈥攁nd the more points you earn. 馃帀

Our prizes are all about helping you get鈥攁nd stay鈥攈ealthy. We focus on home cooking, easy meal prep, and safe, fun movement (the kind that doesn鈥檛 feel like exercise). Past giveaways have included crockpots, veggie prep tools, yoga mats, and more.

FREE Drawing prizes are brought to each event and given away on the spot. Place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the challenge and you鈥檒l get to choose your prize. Items vary year to year, but almost everyone walks away with something they鈥檝e been meaning to get鈥攁nd will actually use to make life easier.

Activity Point Details

Point values vary by activity鈥攖he more effort, the more points! Exercise classes earn more than cooking classes (because, let鈥檚 be honest, showing up to sweat takes commitment 馃槈).

Plus: 馃帀 Every event includes a FREE prize drawing, so the more you attend, the more chances you have to win!

Weekend Activity Schedule

This week it is all about breakfast or brunch. Sign in for points if you eat breakfast on either Saturday, Sunday or both. (Sign in twice, if you do both.)

Cook and enjoy a meal in a slow cooker, Instant pot, pressure cooker, and wok.

Go dancing, walking, hiking or cross country skiing. It will just depend upon the weather.

Time for YOU (and maybe a teammate or friend) to enjoy our public lands! Get outside and explore.

Even if you live on campus and don鈥檛 have a car, the OC&E Trail is right at the top of the hill, with a trailhead near the fire station. Take a quick walk or bike ride鈥攐r, if you鈥檙e up for a hill climb, hike the section just east of campus for an amazing view.

Feeling more adventurous? Head to a National Park like Crater Lake, or check out a State Park such as Collier State Park. The Pacific Crest Trail and Hog鈥檚 Back are also nearby.

However you do it鈥攋ust get outside and do something that鈥檚 fun for you. 馃尣馃毝鈥嶁檧锔忦煔粹嶁檪锔
