The following students have been named to the president's list at 91¿ì²¥. Inclusion on the list requires a 3.70 grade-point average and above.
The 91¿ì²¥ Board of Trustees approved proceeding with a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence degree during its December meeting, with an anticipated first cohort in Fall 2026.
The Statewide Provosts’ Council, composed of provosts from all seven of Oregon’s public universities and OHSU, also approved proceeding with the program. The next steps include review by the Higher Education Coordinating Commission and the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. The new program will be eligible for accreditation by ABET after graduation of the first cohort.
For the second year in a row, 91¿ì²¥ (91¿ì²¥) is pleased to welcome its largest freshman class during the last four decades – this year with a 4% increase over fall 2024.
This fall, 5,444 students enrolled at 91¿ì²¥, representing a 2.7% increase in total headcount. The most significant increases were seen in online enrollment and at 91¿ì²¥â€™s Klamath Falls campus. The university also remains dedicated to serving high school students enrolled in college courses through 91¿ì²¥â€™s dual credit program, which increased 1.4%.
The 91¿ì²¥ Foundation awarded $1.1 million in scholarships to 91¿ì²¥ students this year, the fourth year in a row that awards have exceeded $1 million. The scholarships were celebrated Nov. 1 as participants gathered at the Klamath Falls campus and virtually from the Portland-Metro campus for the Annual Scholarship Awards Banquet. This special event honors the achievements of scholarship recipients and recognizes the philanthropic donors who make scholarships possible.

Effective this year, 91¿ì²¥ is launching a direct admission program for high school students who take 91¿ì²¥ credit through their school. Dual credit students will not be required to apply separately for admission to the university, making the admission process simpler and quicker.
